Prayer Walk for America’s 250th Year
Syracuse City Hall → Onondaga County Courthouse → Syracuse Justice Center → Return to City Hall
As our nation marks 250 years of God’s sustaining grace and mercy, we will gather together in prayer, humility, thanksgiving, and hope.
This prayer walk is not political.
It is spiritual.
We come to thank God for His faithfulness to America throughout generations, and to pray for those who carry responsibility and authority within our city and county.
We will walk from:
Along the way we will pray for:
We believe God hears prayer.
We believe hearts can change.
We believe righteousness, truth, mercy, humility, and love are still the foundation of a healthy people and nation.
Our Purpose
To publicly honor God with thanksgiving for 250 years of His mercy toward America, and to humbly ask Him to guide, convict, strengthen, and restore every seat of authority and every heart willing to respond to Him.
This walk is about unity, humility, repentance, healing, and hope.
We walk peacefully.
We walk prayerfully.
We walk in love.
“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
