Rev. Dr. Kevin Stephens serves as the Director of Stop the Violence Music Ministry and is the founder of the Stop the Violence Community Foundation. Through his ministry, he is dedicated to helping young people discover hope, purpose, and opportunity through music, mentorship, education, and faith.

Believing that every child deserves the chance to succeed, Kevin works to provide tuition assistance for local students in need while also offering free music instruction through the Foundation’s music mentorship program. These opportunities are provided at no cost to students or their families, helping remove barriers and opening doors for the next generation.

Kevin is also the founder of the music group Free Spirit, using music as a powerful tool to encourage, inspire, and bring positive change to the community. His passion for worship, outreach, and youth development has allowed him to impact countless lives through both ministry and music.

Since 2014, Kevin has faithfully served as the founding pastor of Blessed Hope Church, where he continues to teach God’s Word, disciple believers, and encourage people to discover the hope found in Jesus Christ.
